The SC205 is a family of voltage output, current sense amplifiers that integrate an internal shunt
resistor that enables highly accurate current measurements over a common-mode voltage range of 0V to 36 V, independent of supply voltage. The device is a bidirectional, low-side/high-side shunt monitor that measures the current flowing bidirectional into an internal current-sensing resistor sensor usingan external reference. The integrated precision current sense resistors allow the device to achieve calibr
ation-level measurement accuracy and ultra-low temperature drift, and ensure that the Kelvin layout optimized for the sensing resistor can always be implemented.
SC205 Series Output Voltage: 500mV/A. The device has been fully tested to deliver up to 10A of continuous current at a maximum temperature of 125°C. The SC205 operates from a single 2.7V to 36V supply with a maximum supply current of 360μA. All gain versions of the SC205 are specified over the extended operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C) and are available in a small form factor (TSSOP)-16 package.
